Chocolate Brownie


Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients :

Eggs - 2
Butter/ sunflower oil - 50 gm/ml
Sugar - 120 gms
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Baking soda - a pinch
Cocoa - 25 gms
Maida - 25 gms

Quantity mentioned above makes 18 medium sized brownies.

Method :

1. Use a round cake tin (8 inch), line it with aluminium foil and brush it with oil. Set aside.

             

2. In a bowl, crack the eggs and mix well (using spoon/whisk/hand blender)                                

                                                


3. Add butter/oil to the bowl. (If using butter - Melt it using pan/microwave)


4. Add sugar and mix well.



5. Add baking powder, baking soda and vanilla essence to the bowl and mix.



6. Add cocoa powder and mix well.



7. Finally add maida to the mixture and keep mixing till everything gets combined.



8. Pour the mixture into the baking tin kept ready (point no 1)



9. Bake it in the oven at 150 degree Celsius for 45 minutes.
    Remove the tin from the oven and allow it to cool for 15 minutes.




10. Remove the foil.





11. Cut it into shapes of your choice.
