Wheat rava can be served for breakfast / dinner along with yogurt / pickle.
Quantity listed below can Serve : 3 people
Ingredients :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Channa dhal - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 medium sized (chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch piece grated
Wheat Rava - 400 gm
Salt - as required
Water ( hot or normal) - 300 ml
Coriander leaves chopped - to garnish
Method :
1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan.
2. Add mustard, wait to splutter. Later add curry leaves and channa dhal.
Fry for few seconds on medium flame.
3. Add onion and ginger. Fry till the onion turns brown in colour.
4. Add wheat Rava and fry for 2 mins for the raw smell to disappear. Add salt to it.
5. Start adding water to the Rava. Add little by little and not as a whole to retain the texture of the
Rava.
Use hot water for quick results :)
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with yogurt / pickle
