Paneer Butter Masala


Paneer Butter masala can be used as a side dish for chapathi / fried rice

Quantity used below can serve : 3 people

Ingredients:
Ghee - 4 tsp
Tomato (puréed) - 2 small
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Everest kitchen king masala - 2 tsp
Salt - as required
Paneer - 250 gm
Kasuri methi - 2 tsp
Coriander leaves - to garnish

To fry and Grind:
Oil - 1 tsp
Cumin - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 (sliced)
Green chilli - 2 (chopped)
Ginger - 1 inch piece
garlic - 2 pods
Poppy seeds - 1 tsp
Cashews - 6 nos


Method :

1. Chop all the ingredients required to fry.




2. In a pan/kadai, Heat the oil.
    Add cumin, poppy seeds,onion, green chilli, cashews, ginger and garlic.
    Fry till it turns golden brown in colour.



3. Add 1/2 cup of water and leave it aside for 30 minutes.




3. Then grind the fried ingredients into a fine paste.




4. Heat the ghee in a pan. Then add the grinded masala and fry for 5 minutes.




5. Add puréed tomatoes, salt,chilli powder,turmeric powder and kitchen king masala.


                


6. Boil till consistency is attained.

                




6.  Cut the paneer into cubes and toss in a tawa lightly. 



6. Add paneer cubes to the pan.




7. Add Kasuri methi (dry roast and crush into powder).



8. Add some grated paneer and chopped coriander leaves.
