Cabbage Fry (Poriyal)


Cabbage Fry can be served as one of the dishes for lunch.

Quantity mentioned below can be used for : 4 people

Ingredients :

Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urad dhal - 1 tsp
Green chilli - 7 to 8 (slitted)
Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
Cabbage - 1 medium sized (finely sliced)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Water

Method :

1. Heat oil in a pan.



2. Add mustard and urad dhal, wait for it to splutter.



3. Add green chilli and onion fry for 2 minutes.



4. Add the cabbage, salt and turmeric powder.



5. Sprinkle water and close the lid.



6. Let it cook on medium flame for 15 minutes.
    Cabbage poriyal is ready!!
