Masala Pori (Puffed Rice)


Masala Pori is a quick snack recipe.

Quantity used below can serve : 2 people

Ingredients :

Oil - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves - few
Sun dried Chilli - 2
Roasted gram dhal - 1 tbsp
Peanuts - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 8 pods (chopped)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Puffed rice (Pori) - 100 gm
Salt - as required

Method :

1. Heat oil in a pan.



2. Add curry leaves, sun dried chillies, roasted gram and peanuts. Fry for about 5 mins on medium
    flame.
   


3.  Then add garlic and keep trying till the garlic is well fried.





4. Add turmeric powder and mix well.



5. Now add the puffed rice and salt. Toss well.



6. Store in a air tight container.
