Apple Brownie
Apple brownie can be served as a dessert along with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients :
Maida - 175 gm
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp (optional)
Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp (optional)
Butter - 12 tbsp
Sugar - 225 gm
Egg - 1
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Orange juice - 55 ml
Green apple - 470 gm (chopped)
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Method :
1. Mix flour, salt and baking powder,(cinnamon and nutmeg - optional) in a bowl. Keep it aside.
2. Beat sugar and butter. Once it is beaten, add egg, vanilla essence and orange juice, beat again.
3. Then add the ingredients (from step 1) and mix.
4. Mix the chopped apples with lemon juice in a separate bowl. Finally mix everything together.
(Chop the apples at the end, otherwise it will turn black)
5. Bake at 200 degree Celsius for 40 - 45 minutes.
6. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
