Suiyam


Suiyam can be served as an evening snack.

Quantity used below can serve : 2 people

Ingredients :

Urad dhal - 100 gm
Peppercorns -  10 to 15 nos
Salt - as required

Method :

1. Soak urad dhal for 1-2 hours.



2. Blend the dhal coarsely in a mixer.




3. Add peppercorns, salt and very little water and blend it into a paste.
    (Add chopped onion and green chilli to the dough if you wish)





4. Heat oil and drop medium sized portions of the dough.




5. Fry till golden brown.

 



Serve Hot
