Coconut chutney


Coconut chutney can be served with dosa / idli / paniyaram / kollukattai / Upma dishes.

Quantity used below can serve : 2 people

Ingredients :

To Grind :
Fresh Coconut - half of a medium sized coconut (chopped into small pieces)
Green chilli - 1
Curry leaves - few
Bengal gram - 1.5 tbsp
Water

For seasoning :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Urad dhal -1 tbsp

Method :

1. Take all the ingredients 'To Grind' in a blender.

                


2. Add water and grind well.

                                 


3. Heat oil in a small pan. Add mustard curry leaves and urad dhal, wait to splutter.
    Add all these ingredients to the bowl of coconut chutney.





4.  Mix well and serve.
