Coconut Cookies


Quantity used below can make 10 cookies.


Ingredients :


Grated coconut (fresh / frozen) - 75 gm 
Butter - 25 gm 
Egg - 1
Sugar - 35 gm 
Salt - a pinch 
Maida  - 25 gm 


Method :

1. In a bowl, Melt the butter and mix it with the grated coconut. Place it aside.

2. In a separate bowl, Beat the egg well adding sugar and salt to it.

3. Now combine the egg mixture with the already mixed grated coconut - butter content.
    Finally add Maida and mix to be well combined.
    The cookie dough should neither be watery nor be too thick.

4. Grease a cookie tray with oil. Now take medium sized spoon of cookie mixtures and flatten them
     using the same spoon. Make sure to flatten it to be of medium thickness.

5. Place the tray in the oven at 175 degree Celsius for 25 minutes.

6. Remove the tray from the oven and allow it to cool for 5 minutes

7. Store the cookies in an air tight container and enjoy.
