Seeraga chutney


Seeraga chutney can be served as a side dish for  idli / dosa / paniyaram.

Quantity used below can serve : 2 people.

Ingredients :

To grind :
Cumin - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 2 pods
Red chillies - 10 nos
Salt - as required

To temper :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few

Method :

1. Take all the ingredients to grind in a mixer.

                 


2. Grind well adding enough water.



3. Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard and curry leaves, wait for it to splutter.



4. Add the grinded mixture to the kadai.



5. Boil till raw smell disappears. (Colour change to a dark shade can be noticed)



6. Serve with dosa / idli / paniyaram as you wish.
