Pudina chutney


Pudina chutney can be served with rice / idli / dosa / paniyaram.

Quantity used below can serve : 2 people

Ingredients :

To grind :

Oil - 1 tbsp
Urad dhal - 1 tbsp
Red chilli - 4
Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Curry leaves - few
Mint leaves - 1 cup
Coconut - 1/4 of one half of a coconut
Tamarind - small piece
Water
Salt - as required

To temper : (optional)

Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Channa dhal - 1 tbsp

Method :

1. Get all the ingredients 'To grind' in a plate.

                                   


2. Heat oil in a kadai and fry the urad dhal,red chillies,curry leaves and Pudina.
    (Fry each ingredient separately)



3. Add the fried ingredients with the other ingredients 'To grind' in a blender.



3. Blend well adding little water.



4. Transfer the content to a bowl.

                        

5. Temper if you wish.
