Jeera Biscuit
Jeera biscuit is a healthy snack recipe.
Quantity used below can make 15 medium sized biscuits.
Ingredients :
Wheat flour - 140 gm
Butter - 55 gm
Sugar - 55 gm
Cumin (jeera) - 1 tbsp
Salt - 1/8 tbsp
Milk - 2/3 tbsp
Water - if required
Method :
1. Mix wheat flour and chilled butter with your hand. It will form like bread crumbs.
2. Add sugar, cumin (jeera), salt and mix well.
3. Add milk gradually and make it into a dough. Add little water if required.
Refrigerate the dough for 15 minutes.
4. Roll the dough like chapathi and cut into shapes using cookie cutters.
5. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes until edges turns golden brown in colour.
