Sweet corn fried rice can be served for lunch.
Quantity used below can serve : 2 people
Ingredients :
Oil - 1 tbsp
Onion - 1 (medium) chopped
Green chilli - 1 chopped finely
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Spring onion - 4
Beans - 10 nos chopped
Sweet corn - 100 gm
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Cooked rice - 650 gm
Pepper - 1 tbsp
Ajinomoto - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required.
Method :
1. Chop onion, green chilli, spring onion (bulb and leaves separately), coriander leaves.
2. Chop the beans into small pieces, measure the sweet corn in a bowl.
3. Add the beans and sweet corn to a pressure cooker. Fill it with water and cook them for 3 whistles.
4. Heat oil in a pan.
brown in colour.
6. Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2 mins.
7. Drain the water from the Pressure cooked vegetables. Add them to the pan and fry for 5 mins.
Add pepper, ajinomoto and salt.
8. Fry for 5 mins on medium flame.
9. Add cooked rice and mix well.
10. Finally add coriander leaves and the leaves of spring onions. Serve hot.
